My name is Leticia Ochoa and I have the privilege to work at Stonegate since 2015. I am happy to be able to teach at a school where I used to be a student and feel blessed to work with dedicated teachers. I decided to teach upper grade because I wanted to expand my professional knowledge and my personality fits with this age group.
I knew I wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl. At the age of 18 years-old, my first job was working in the educational field and that was my first step to building my way into a teaching career.
I am the first in my family to attend college. I attended San Jose State University and received a BA in Child Development and MA in Education.
I am committed to providing an equitable education and a fun learning experience for each of my students. Every year, I want to improve my teaching skills and strive to build a strong connection with the students, parents, staff and the Stonegate community.
