Stonegate Rules

At Stonegate we have high expectations for all students.  Our GATORS acrostic gives our academic and behavior guidelines and applies to all students and staff here:

DRESS CODE:

1. No hats/caps may be worn indoors.

2. No make-up, false nails, fragrances, or jewelry (except small stud earrings).

3. Middle School students may have modest make up.

4. All students must be modestly dressed and groomed in order to promote a positive learning environment. Extremes in dress and grooming will not be tolerated.

5. The following clothing is inappropriate for school: (Including but not limited to:) Bare midriffs, halter tops, spaghetti straps, mesh shirts, sagging pants, baggy clothing, mini-skirts, flip-flops, muscle shirts, or tube tops. Clothing imprinted with any writing or insignia referring to alcohol, drugs, or tobacco is prohibited. Sexually suggestive or gang-related insignias will not be permitted.

6. Grades 4 - 8 may not wear shorts, skirts, split skirts or culottes that are shorter than when arms are relaxed at the side. No bicycle or extremely tight shorts are allowed.

7. Students must arrive with appropriate shoes for Physical Education daily and shoelaces must be tied or fastened.

8. “Body art” or drawing on skin, wearing rub-on tattoos, or other forms of art on skin are not allowed.
